The 2025 SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl rolled out the red carpet for a week filled with unforgettable moments for the teams, staff, coaches, fans, and families from the University of Utah and the University of Nebraska football programs. From a showgirl welcome at the airport to season highlights on the Fremont Street canopy, and ultimately an electric New Year’s Eve showdown at Allegiant Stadium, Bowl Week delivered at every turn.
The 2025 Hall of Fame Series officially wrapped on December 20 at Mortgage Matchup Center, closing an unforgettable season across the country and marking the completion of the event's third year. In total, this year's Hall of Fame Series featured six events, 11 games, and stops in Las Vegas, Baltimore, Los Angeles (new), Boston (new), and Phoenix, including two dates in the Valley.
The 2025 Hall of Fame Series Phoenix took over Mortgage Matchup Center on December 20, with Stanford defeating Colorado and San Diego State falling to undefeated No. 1 Arizona in a thrilling doubleheader in Downtown Phoenix. The Saturday night event packed the arena with a lively crowd and an unforgettable atmosphere of college basketball fans.
Last month, Chicago Elite Classic closed out another solid weekend at Chicago’s top high school basketball showcase. From December 5-7, the event brought together 40 teams across two venues, with programs traveling in from Georgia, Missouri, Indiana, Washington D.C., Ohio, and of course, Illinois.
The 2025 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame lineup delivered another standout year of premier college basketball and marquee moments.
Last month, Position Sports had the opportunity to partner with Jordan Brand North America to plan and operate their annual Flight School season kickoff event across all three of Jordan Brand’s U.S. territories. In Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City, athletes from Jordan Brand’s partner high schools geared up for the season with the latest on-court product, trained with NBA skill coaches, heard from motivational speakers and mental performance experts, and were surprised with the unreleased AJXI “Gamma Blue.”
The 2025 Jerry Colangelo Classic brought an action-packed evening of college basketball to the Mortgage Matchup Center, featuring two matchups: Oklahoma State vs. Grand Canyon and Oklahoma vs. Arizona State. The event drew strong fan support creating an energetic atmosphere throughout the night.
Nike EYBL and DICK’S Sporting Goods teamed up with six EYBL directors and their programs to deliver clinics made accessible to every girl who wanted to play, bringing the energy of It’s Her Shot to Colorado, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Texas, California, and Florida. Powered by the national reach of DICK’S Sporting Goods and Nike’s commitment to growing the game, these clinics created real access and real impact.
The Amica Insurance Hall of Fame Series Boston made its debut on Saturday, November 15, delivering a Top-10 showdown on one of basketball’s most iconic stages. In the first Hall of Fame Series game ever hosted in Boston, No. 3 UConn squared off against No. 7 BYU on the legendary parquet floor, with more than 16,000 fans packing TD Garden and a national audience tuning in on FOX.
The weekend began with the Tip-Off Reception, hosted in partnership with Meet Boston and View Boston, where members of the Boston business community came together for a legendary evening of sports, sips, and skyline views at View Boston’s observation deck. Leading into the event, the Hall of Fame Series also worked with local schools across the greater Boston area for multiple basketball giveaways.
The Experian Hall of Fame Series Los Angeles made its debut last Friday, bringing the Series to California for the first time and serving as one of the inaugural marquee college basketball events at the new Intuit Dome. The doubleheader featured Illinois State vs. USC followed by a Top-25 matchup between former conference rivals No. 5 Arizona and No. 15 UCLA, drawing a high-energy crowd and a national audience on Peacock.
In late October, Position Sports partnered with Jordan Brand in Paris to deliver an innovative Jordan Wings Camp alongside their local partners. The goal was to bring to life the “Never Be the Same” mantra behind Jayson Tatum’s new signature shoe.

The Wellpoint Hall of Fame Series Baltimore returned to CFG Bank Arena on Monday for its second straight year, bringing together four Maryland programs (three from the greater Baltimore area) for an exciting doubleheader to open their college basketball season. The day featured Maryland taking on Coppin State in the first game, followed by an all-Baltimore matchup between Loyola (MD) and Towson in the finale.
On Monday, we tipped off the 2025 Hall of Fame Series at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a thrilling doubleheader, featuring #13 Arizona defeating defending National Champions Florida, and #8 BYU, led by AJ Dybantsa, beating Villanova. The games were once again broadcast on TNT, TruTV, and HBO Max, headlining college basketball’s Opening Night.
From the soulful sounds of the marching bands echoing down Fremont Street to a thrilling finish inside Allegiant Stadium, the inaugural P&G Las Vegas HBCU Classic brought unmatched energy, pride, and pageantry to the Sports & Entertainment Capital of the World.
Last weekend, Position Sports supported the tip off of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame’s college basketball season with the Exhibition Series at Mohegan Sun Arena, a thrilling doubleheader that featured both the defending national champion UConn women’s team vs. Boston College and a closely contested men’s matchup between the same programs.
Our team led all PR, media relations, social media, and graphic design efforts leading up to and throughout the event. We are looking forward to another season of great college basketball!
Last weekend, Position Sports supported the Marathon Team Series (MTS) at its inaugural half-marathon team competition embedded within the Portland Marathon. MTS is a team-based format built into major half and full marathons: teams of seven compete cross-country-style, with the top five finishers contributing to a time-based team score that’s age- and gender-adjusted for a level playing field. Position Sports partnered with MTS on social media, graphic design, press kit creation and content capture leading into race weekend and on site.
Last weekend, for the second consecutive year, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame hosted the 13th annual Jerry Colangelo Golf Classic at the iconic Arizona Biltmore Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. Position Sports once again partnered with the Hall of Fame on all social media and PR efforts surrounding the event.
Last weekend, Position Sports once again supported the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame for the 2025 Enshrinement Weekend, leading all media relations efforts and capturing and producing content leading up to and throughout the event.
Position Sports recently concluded the seventh annual T-Mobile Little League® Home Run Derby™, held in partnership with Major League Baseball (MLB), T-Mobile, and Little League International.

For the second consecutive year, our team at Position Sports partnered with Jordan Brand North America to bring The ONE to life, a global 1v1 basketball tournament spotlighting the world’s top one-on-one players through elite, high-stakes competition.
Last month, Position Sports helped bring the 2025 Nike Girls EYBL Nationals to life in Chicago, closing out the season with another powerful showcase of elite girls basketball.

Earlier this year, Position Sports was tasked by Jordan Brand EMEA with developing a strategy to execute their franchise program, THE ONE, powered by Luka Doncic new signature shoe, in the Balkans specifically in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Belgrade, Serbia.
