Hall of Fame Series Las Vegas
On Monday, we tipped off the 2025 Hall of Fame Series at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a thrilling doubleheader, featuring #13 Arizona defeating defending National Champions Florida, and #8 BYU, led by AJ Dybantsa, beating Villanova. The games were once again broadcast on TNT, TruTV, and HBO Max, headlining college basketball's Opening Night.
On game day, the Position Sports team executed all on-site operations, from team arrivals and arena setup to the full run of show, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved. In the lead-up to the event, our communications and marketing teams collaborated with key partners to deliver a unified campaign that generated excitement across digital, broadcast, and local platforms. Our social media team led an elite content crew to capture and share the energy of Opening Night across the @HOFSeries channels.
Beyond the court, we made a significant impact on the Vegas community. We teamed up with Vegas For Athletes to put on the Heart of the Game program, offering free heart screenings for local athletes, as well as two basketball clinics at the WODE Athlete Center on Sunday. The Heart of the Game program also held additional screenings at T-Mobile Arena on Monday during the games. Additionally, the Position Sports team visited local schools in the greater Clark County School District to provide new basketballs in the weeks approaching the doubleheader.
By combining elite competition, community engagement, and flawless execution, Position Sports delivered a memorable Opening Night to the college basketball season. Next up for the Hall of Fame Series: Los Angeles featuring Illinois State vs. USC and UCLA vs. Arizona (Nov. 14) and Boston featuring UConn vs. BYU (Nov. 15).
