P&G Las Vegas HBCU Classic

From the soulful sounds of the marching bands echoing down Fremont Street to a thrilling finish inside Allegiant Stadium, the inaugural P&G Las Vegas HBCU Classic brought unmatched energy, pride, and pageantry to the Sports & Entertainment Capital of the World.

Position Sports, in collaboration with Legends Global and the Las Vegas Raiders, delivered a first-of-its-kind experience that celebrated the rich history and culture of Historically Black Colleges and Universities on one of football’s biggest stages.

This matchup between Jackson State University and Grambling State University lived up to the hype, with Grambling State pulling off an upset victory. Fans from across the country filled Allegiant Stadium, creating an atmosphere that was both electric and deeply rooted in HBCU tradition.

Beyond the game, the weekend was filled with community, culture, and connection. The Pep Rally brought the heart of the experience to Fremont Street, as the World Famed Tiger Marching Band and Sonic Boom of the South turned downtown Las Vegas into a celebration of sound and spirit. The Alumni Mixer at Mariposa Cocina offered alumni a place to connect and reminisce, while the Gospel Brunch at Resorts World closed the weekend on an uplifting note.
