Experian Hall of Fame Series Los Angeles
The Experian Hall of Fame Series Los Angeles made its debut last Friday, bringing the Series to California for the first time and serving as one of the inaugural marquee college basketball events at the new Intuit Dome. The doubleheader featured Illinois State vs. USC followed by a Top-25 matchup between former conference rivals No. 5 Arizona and No. 15 UCLA, drawing a high-energy crowd and a national audience on Peacock.
The event showcased both elite competition and the deep roots of Los Angeles basketball, highlighted by a tribute to the late Hall of Famer Bill Walton that infused his unmistakable spirit throughout the Arizona–UCLA game. The student section received custom tie-dye shirts, Grateful Dead tracks played throughout the arena, and at halftime, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Jamaal Wilkes delivered a special presentation to Walton’s family in recognition of his immeasurable impact on the sport and both programs.
Position Sports planned, directed, and executed every aspect of the event, including project development, marketing, event operations, media relations, social media management, graphic design, and VIP hospitality.
