Position Sports is seeking a Logistics and Operations Coordinator. The position will be responsible for warehouse and event logistics related to owned and operated events and contracted events. Duties include but are not limited to ensuring the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, event logistics and vendor management.

Objectives of this Role:

  • Support workflow and production, oversees warehouse logistics and engaged in on ground activation and execution

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Sr. Director and/or Manager in core workflow and production schedules

  • Responsible for coordination of vendors and suppliers

  • Assists warehouse and logistics in supporting Sr. Director and/or Manager

  • Supervises daily warehouse activities

  • Oversee and coordinate logistics for transporting products to events and clients

  • Package, label and ship client orders by FedEx, US main, bus, motor freight and truck deliveries

  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols

  • Oversee warehouse part-time staff

  • Manages warehouse inventory

  • Onsite operations support at projects and activations

  • Administrative and fulfillment responsibilities for projects and activations

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business administration or related field is preferred

  • 2+ year within the industry and field

  • Knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, customer service

  • and production

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to develop innovative solutions for increased productivity

  • Communication skills in both internal and external settings

  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software, Google’s suite of products, Outlook, Word and Excel

Typical Mental/Physical Demands:

  • Good command of the English language and be able to proofread work

  • Detailed, organized and communicative

  • Understanding, yet persuasive and decisive when dealing with others in the organization

  • Responsive team player with ability to quickly prioritize among numerous pressing tasks

  • Able to prioritize and work with multiple layers of staff within the company

  • Ability to travel and operate company events (i.e. standing for long periods of time, ability to lift up

  • to 50lbs)

Salary:

  • $38,00-$48,000

  • 100% Health Benefits for Employee and 50% for dependents

  • Cell phone monthly stipend
