Jerry Colangelo Classic

The 2025 Jerry Colangelo Classic brought an action-packed evening of college basketball to the Mortgage Matchup Center, featuring two matchups: Oklahoma State vs. Grand Canyon and Oklahoma vs. Arizona State. The event drew strong fan support creating an energetic atmosphere throughout the night.

The showcase opened with Grand Canyon facing Oklahoma State, giving the Lopes a major non-conference test in front of a lively, engaged crowd. Their fans helped set the tone early, bringing playoff-like intensity and making the building feel electric from warmups through the final buzzer. The second game of the day featured Arizona State taking on Oklahoma, completing the Classic’s doubleheader.

Operationally, the Position Sports team once again executed a smooth and efficient event from load-in through the final horn. Staff managed locker room preparation, signage installation, broadcast coordination, team arrivals, all communications efforts, and the full run of show.
