SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl

The 2025 SRS Distribution Las Vegas Bowl rolled out the red carpet for a week filled with unforgettable moments for the teams, staff, coaches, fans, and families from the University of Utah and the University of Nebraska football programs. From a showgirl welcome at the airport to season highlights on the Fremont Street canopy, and ultimately an electric New Year’s Eve showdown at Allegiant Stadium, Bowl Week delivered at every turn.

Festivities officially kicked off the day after Christmas as the teams arrived in Las Vegas and settled into their hotels. Upon arrival, players were welcomed with a fresh pair of Blenders sunglasses, plush team robes, and signature Elvis glasses. The evening concluded with a Coaches VIP dinner at Spago, featuring curated bites and beverages alongside the iconic Bellagio Fountains.

Throughout the week, players experienced the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas in a variety of memorable ways. Each team took part in two interactive gifting suite activations, including custom Air Jordan 1s with Major Wavez Labs and personalized patched hats with Nebraska-based company Patched. The teams also visited the Las Vegas Sphere for an unforgettable showing of The Wizard of Oz. Two Bowl Week staples, the Welcome Reception and the Pep Rally, took over the Fremont Street Experience, where Nebraska Head Coach Matt Rhule caught the action from a birds-eye-view.

Community impact remained a priority throughout the week. In partnership with Aristocrat Gaming, the student-athletes volunteered with The Just One Project, donating hundreds of pounds of food to local families in need. Aristocrat Gaming also contributed $25,000 to the organization, underscoring its commitment to making a positive difference in the Las Vegas community. Later that day, the ladies and kids of the Las Vegas Bowl gathered for an afternoon of fun at Downtown Summerlin.

The Kickoff Luncheon filled the Virgin Hotels Theater for an afternoon celebrating everything that makes Bowl Week special. Student-athletes were recognized for their community impact, spirit squads and bands energized the crowd, ESPN talent conducted interviews with sponsors and coaches, and former NFL quarterback Ryan Leaf delivered a powerful keynote address that moved all in attendance.

Game day kicked off with the Fan Fest where bands, cheer, and dance teams kept the energy high. By 12:30 p.m., the stadium was a sea of red as fans watched kickoff. The matchup capped off Bowl Week with the Utes securing a dominant postseason victory.

Position Sports was proud to develop, plan, and manage this week-long celebration of college football in partnership with ESPN Events and the Las Vegas Bowl, delivering a seamless experience from start to finish.
