2026 Enshrinement Weekend

In August, Position Sports once again supported the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for the 2026 Enshrinement Weekend, leading all media relations efforts and capturing and producing content leading up to and throughout the event.

Festivities tipped off at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut, with the Class of 2026 Media Availability and the Tip-Off Celebration Awards Gala and Red Carpet. Both opportunities were expanded this year, drawing more media and delivering greater coverage overall. Reporters traveled in from the regional markets of this year's inductees, and Position Sports significantly grew the number of 1-on-1 media opportunities available, making for a smoother, more rewarding experience for press and talent alike.

From there, the celebration shifted to Springfield, Massachusetts, "The Birthplace of Basketball", where the two-block-long red carpet made its return, giving media another wave of interview access. Inside Symphony Hall, the energy held strong as the Class of 2026 was officially enshrined into the Hall of Fame. Across the weekend, the event welcomed 60 returning Hall of Famers, among the highest turnout in its history, adding to the sense of occasion.
