Nicole Taylor

Public Relations Manager

Nicole joined Position Sports in 2014 as Public Relations Manager and is responsible for driving PR strategies to build and sustain brand loyalty for our clients. She brings to the team a wide array of knowledge in public relations, marketing, partnerships and events.

Prior to joining Position Sports, Nicole spent four seasons with the Phoenix Suns and Mercury as a Senior Manager of Partnership Activation working with several multi-million dollar clients. She also coached at Phoenix Suns basketball camp for three summers. 

In 2009, Nicole was 1 of 6 graduates selected from a pool of over 2,000 applicants for the National Basketball Association’s prestigious Associate Program. During this one year rotational program in New York City, she focused on intellectual property, human resources and events. She quickly learned events were her passion and went on to work on international games in Taiwan, China and London, as well as the NBA Finals and NBA All-Star Weekend. 

Raised in Mesa, Arizona, Nicole is deeply ingrained in the Phoenix community. As a high school basketball standout, she ultimately accepted an academic scholarship to Arizona State University where she earned a degree in Communication with a minor in Mass Communication and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. During her time at ASU, she worked as a manager for the women’s basketball team under the direction of Charli Turner Thorne. 

Nicole also interned with Gaylord Sports Management, Northwest Sports & Entertainment, Scottsdale Community College Athletics, the Phoenix Mercury and the Phoenix Suns, in addition to volunteering at events such as Mohammad Ali Celebrity Fight Night and the NFL Experience at Super Bowl XLII. As an original founder of the ASU Sports Business Association, she still serves on the advisory board as a mentor to current undergraduates.

Nicole resides in Ahwatukee with her husband EJ and their daughter Aubrey.
