Grand Canyon University and Position Sports, Inc. Team Up to Enhance GCU’s Colangelo College of Business


Phoenix, Ariz. – Phoenix-based national marketing firm, Position Sports, announced today its partnership with Grand Canyon University’s (GCU) Colangelo College of Business. 

Founded on the belief that the entrepreneurial dream is an engine that drives innovation forward in a global marketplace, the Colangelo College of Business educates and develops values-driven business leaders. Its graduates exemplify the principles of servant leadership, ethics and entrepreneurship. The college features more than 25 programs from the bachelor through the master's level, catering to traditional, evening and online college students. Its programs serve a diverse set of aspiring business professionals, leaders and executives. The business school’s ACBSP accreditation reinforces its commitment to teaching excellence and student learning outcomes. The Colangelo College of Business’s Sports Business program has approximately 750 students and offers both undergraduate and MBA-level degree options.

Position Sports produces nearly 50 events each year and works with many of the world’s leading brands including Nike, Jordan Brand, Red Bull, the Basketball Hall of Fame and USA Basketball.  

Position Sports will work directly with the emerging GCU Sports Business program by providing guest speakers for students via their national network; delivering class lectures on event marketing and operations; helping to manage the Sports Business Club; and creating internship opportunities for GCU students.
