Jullien Leleux

Director of Marketing

Jullien joined Position Sports in 2014 as the Director of Marketing. He brings vast knowledge, expertise and a worldly viewpoint on a wide range of sports.

Prior to Position Sports, Jullien worked at Nike France for eight years, starting out as an intern at product placement and climbed the corporate ladder to have dual titles of Category Manager Basketball and Sports Marketing Manager Soccer. In those years, Jullien proved to be not only a team player but a well respected team manager and mentor within the corporation.

Jullien’s expertise in sports marketing qualified him to negotiate with top French athletes as well as the biggest federations in France; the French Ruby Federation (FRF), French Basketball Federation (FFBB), Stade Toulousain (a championship Rugby team in Europe). Brand marketing responsibilities included leading the strategy for French Basketball, cross managing PR / Events / Retail Brand Presentation / Digital Commerce. 

During his time at Nike, Jullien also worked on major events such as the 2007 Rugby World Cup in France as a Junior Sports Marketing Manager and the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand as a Senior Sports Marketing Manager. He also managed French Basketball and Soccer for the 2012 London Olympics, the Women’s Euro Soccer Championship 2013 in Sweden as well as multiple Euro and World Championships for the French Basketball teams.

Born in Perigueux, France, he attended the University of Bordeaux as an undergrad in Sports. One of those years he spent abroad at University of Quebec at Trois Rivieres. It was at UQTR where he was on the winning team for Canada Indoor Soccer Championship with the Patriots. After college, Jullien received his Masters of Sports Management from Lyon University.
