For the third straight year, a group from the Jordan Brand Classic is travelling Internationally -- this time to Istanbul, Turkey -- for a two-day training camp with 40 of the top prospects in Europe from March 3-8.  Ten players will be selected as the Most Valuable Players from the camp and they will travel to the United States in April, along with six players from other regions of the world to compete in the third annual International Game as part of the Jordan Brand Classic on Saturday, April 17th at Madison Square Garden in New York City.  Follow along with our blog and daily photo gallery from staff member Kevin Foley.

This has just been another incredible experience.  I am sitting at the airport about to leave Istanbul, but I wish I had more time to sitesee and spend with some of our local NIKE folks.  It has been a real treat since I landed here a few days ago.  Overall, the event was a major success.  In a region of the world where futboi reigns, it is great to see a country such as Turkey with so many passionate basketball fans and talented players.  From my first EuroLeague game on Day 3 to the final MVP selection, I loved watching this style of basketball for the last few days.

I also wanted to thank our staff from Turkey - Tunc, Sefik, ErHaN and the rest of their group.  They were tremendous hosts and incredible organizers.  Congratulations on a successful event.

So what's next?  In just about five weeks, these 10 MVPs will join six other players from around the world at our Jordan Brand Classic International game in New York City.  I am looking forward to seeing all of them again in the World's Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden.
